I don’t always use the same brands together in my skincare routine, but when I tried the Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser and Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner premium-sized samples, I knew I had to get the full-sizes of this cleanser and toner duo for dry and sensitive skin since I thoroughly enjoyed both. First of all, I love how refreshing it feels on my skin. And it also makes me feel extra clean, is very gentle and non-irritating.
Why I Think This Cleanser And Toner Duo Is Great For Dry And Sensitive Skin
Over the past few weeks, my skin suddenly became extremely raw, sensitive, tight and also had red, dry patches all over my face. I’m not sure what happened – was it the cold of the oncoming winter that I’m reacting to or an acne treatment I recently used? The verdict is still out. But literally everything I put on my skin felt like it was burning my face. And I felt this discomfort throughout the entire day for almost 2 weeks straight. It’s already tough enough to not have perfect skin and blemishes that love to torment me, but having dry, rough, painful patches all over my face takes the cake.

I ended up having to use some prescribed hydrocortisone cream which helped improve this issue I was having with my skin, but currently, it’s still on the way to healing.

How To Use
Cleanser
In my experience, a dime to a nickel size is more than enough to clean your entire face as it does foam and spread pretty easily. You’ll also want to dampen your face a little bit before use. You can use the cleanser morning and night.
Toner
I find that 2 to 3 small squeezes of the cucumber toner onto a cotton pad is enough for the entire face. You can also apply this to certain areas that need more attention or just use it on the entire face. Using a cotton pad will help remove any excess or leftover makeup or cleanser residue. You can also put a few drops onto your hand and apply to the skin directly so you don’t waste any product. This product can also be used morning and night.

The toner has a cap with a small hole in it, which allows you to pour out or squeeze out the liquid easily. It’s also small enough that you won’t over-pour any toner, but if you prefer to use a little more you can put a little more pressure into squeezing it.
How Long Does It Last?

The Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser lasted me about 6 months since you really don’t need much of it.
Toner
I guess I really like the Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner since I finished the toner before the cleanser and I still had at least 1/3 of the cleanser left. The toner has lasted me about 4 months.
