How To Use
The Rice Wash Cleanser
Dampen the skin and hands before applying the cleanser. Squeeze about a dime size of The Rice Wash out of the tube and rub it in your hands until it becomes a creamy foam, and massage the face. You can use this gentle cleanser daily. I like rubbing a bit of the product between my fingers just before it gets foamy and apply it to my face and activate it as I cleanse my face.
The Dewy Skin Cream
Apply your toner, essence, serum, and eye cream before applying The Dewy Skin Cream. You only need about a pea-size to blueberry-size amount to massage onto your entire face and neck.

Product Texture
The Rice Wash Cleanser
The Rich Wash Cleanser is a smooth, creamy cleanser. As you lather it up with water, it foams up but lightly enough that you can still feel the moisturizing cream of the cleanser. If you’re looking for a cleanser that foams up a lot, this isn’t it.
The Dewy Skin Cream
The Dewy Skin Cream feels luxuriously smooth and is easy to spread across the skin. It doesn’t feel too heavy to me even though it’s a rich cream and I am still able to use this during the summer.
Product Scent
Both The Rice Wash and The Dewy Skin Cream, and basically almost all the Tatcha products have a light, unique herbal scent mixed with young bamboo and green tea. It is a blend of all-natural aromatics and smells really good to me.

The plastic tube allows the product to be easily squeezed out and I find that this packaging was of good quality as it doesn’t keep all the water in the lid.
The Dewy Skin Cream
The Dewy Skin Cream comes in a thick plastic jar and has a gold spoon for you to hygienically scoop product out without having to stick your fingers in. It also allows you to control just exactly how much product you want to use as well. The lid is also easy to twist back on, unlike some other jars that take a while or doesn’t go on properly the first try.

You can purchase The Tatcha Rice Wash and The Dewy Skin Cream on Tatcha’s own website or Sephora (online or in-store). I do recommend purchasing from the Tatcha site if you want the travel sizes though, since Sephora does not sell the cleanser in a travel size by itself. If you want the cleanser and cream, Tatcha also has a Dewy Glow Trio Set that comes with the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist which helps boost hydration and can double as a toner.
My Results
The Rich Wash cleanser felt so nice on my skin and just using this every morning and night with the beautiful scent just made me enjoy using it that much more. It’s very creamy and moisturizing on the skin but not heavy. I also love that it’s pH balanced so when I wash the cleanser off, my face doesn’t feel tight or stripped like many cleansers do. It was very moisturizing but not heavy. I also feel like my skin was instantly brighter and more radiant after each use and my skin felt really clean.
The Dewy Skin Cream is very smooth and easily spreadable so you don’t need that much of it. It’s very hydrating but it’s not heavy or oily on the skin. Normally I can’t use a rich cream unless it’s in the dead of winter, but I was able to use this during the summer both morning and night and it didn’t feel like there was too much on. Also, if you apply just the right amount, it’ll feel like the perfect year round cream. It works amazingly during winter too of course, and provides enough moisture to combat the dry winter air. My skin definitely looked and felt dewy after, but it wasn’t shiny which can be a concern for people.
Verdict
I was really looking forward to using these Tatcha products because the whole line just seems so luxurious to me. And what girl doesn’t like to pamper herself with good quality products? I also love the packaging – it’s simple but feels high class. The scent is amazing and makes me enjoy using the Tatcha products that much more. And most of all, I see and feel results and it really just makes my skin feel so nice. It provides the amount of nourishment my skin needs and doesn’t leave anything out. And knowing the philosophy behind this brand makes me appreciate their products that much more when I use them. I’ve tried a lot of the Tatcha products and there isn’t a product I don’t like so far. If anything, I’m always extra for the times when I am using their products – I think this skincare line does it all for me. It’s definitely a must-try, especially if you’re looking for products that pamper your skin.
