What’s In My Shopping Cart This 2022 Sephora Spring Saving Event?

As I’ve said above, there are a few beauty products I need to get in order to make comparisons on that category and be able to recommend and write about the best items in my blog. Currently, I’m obsessing over setting powders and setting sprays. Especially since we have to wear masks so often during the pandemic, I find that my makeup always transfers so I’m on the hunt for the best ones out there. And the only item that I’m low on in my beauty inventory are toners which I’ll be adding to my cart. I’m also going to be trying out a couple makeup primers to see if they really make a difference in my makeup application and lasting power compared to the current ones I have.

1 – K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask

K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask

This new brand of leave-in treatment hair mask is said to be even better than Olaplex, so of course I need to test this out for myself. I’ve read that a lot of people have been ditching Olaplex for K18 so this will be a trial run for me – and if all goes well, I’ll write a blog post comparison for this! It’s claim to fame is that it clinically reverses hair damage in just 4 minutes and strengthens, softens, and smoothens your hair to a healthier state.

2 – Biossance Squalance + BHA Pore-Minimizing Toner

Biossance Squalance + BHA Pore Minimizing Toner

If you’ve read my most recent blog post on Do You Really Need A Facial Toner In Your Skincare Routine, then you’ll know that I’ve been using a toner on and off throughout the years. And only in the last 2 years, I’ve been using a toner consistently in my skincare routine. I’ve heard really good things about the Biossance Toner and can’t wait to try it out. This toner is alcohol-free and tightens, purifies, clarifies, and hydrates the skin.

3 – Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask

Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask

I’ve been loving the La Neige Lip Sleeping Mask, but if you know me, I always like to have a backup. I love the Tatcha brand and everything I’ve tried of theirs so far has been amazing. I’m looking forward to tryin this lip mask and have it in rotation with my La Neige one! It’s not sticky and helps soften, smooth, and plump up your lips!

4 – Jack Black Power Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Pads

Jack Black Power Peel Multi-Acid Resurfacing Pads

My favorite peel pads have always been Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel, but they do get pricey and I like to try other peels to make comparisons as well. One that was fairly recently launched is the Jack Black Power Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Pads that I’ve been having my eye on for a while. It’s professional strength with a high-potency formula with little irritation and down time.

Although the brand generally targets men, there are a few products that work well for women too. I personally love the Jack Black Moisture Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 and it’s my favorite lip balm and I’ve recommended this in multiple blog posts.

5 – Lawless Glam Guard Long-Wear Setting Spray

Lawless Glam Guard Long-Wear Setting Spray

I’m always on the hunt for a really good setting spray and I like having choices. What’s most important to me is that my makeup lasts all day, it doesn’t feel sticky, and is non-transferable. Especially when we wear masks, so far none of the setting sprays I’ve tried have prevented my makeup from going on my mask but I can imagine I might be asking for a little much. The Lawless setting spray is weightless and has a super fine mist that locks in makeup for up to 16 hours or more with a velvety matte veil.

6 – Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Setting + Refreshing Spray

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Setting + Refreshing Spray

Another setting spray I want to try that has really good reviews is the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip one. This one lets your makeup last for up to 12 hours but it provides a glassy glow and has a radiant finish. For those who love glass skin, this may be a good choice.

7 – Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Setting Powder

Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Setting Powder

I’m also on the lookout for the best setting powders out there and I’m adding the Anastasia Beverly Hills one too my list to be able to give you the best setting powder recommendations! This ABH setting powder brightens, perfects, and sets your makeup with its silky formula and has a soft-focus effect to blur imperfections.

8 – Skylar Pink Canyon Eau De Parfum Rollerball

Skylar Pink Canyon Eau De Parfum

If you’ve taken a look at Shop My Favorites – Perfume, you’ll know why I picked the Skylar Pink Canyon perfume to try out! It has a fruity and fresh citrus scent that was inspired by a West Coast sunset. Skylar fragrances are also hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin and everything is 100% recyclable.

9 – Frank Body Coconut Coffee Scrub

Frank Body Coconut Coffee Scrub

I’ve used the Original Frank Body Coffee Scrub since the brand first started in 2013 when their packaging was still brown. Their scrubs makes your skin very smooth and hydrated and it is also perfect for people with skin conditions like eczema. I ran out of mine and have been using the Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Body Scrub which I love, but wanted to try Frank Body’s coconut-scented scrub this time around.

10 – Sol De Janeiro Anitta x Sol De Janeiro Perfume Mist

Sol De Janeiro Anitta x Sol De Janeiro Perfume Mist

I really like the Sol De Janeiro scents and I had to get this limited edition perfume mist since it’s a collab with the Brazilian singer Anitta! I’m a big fan of Latin and reggaetón music and Anitta’s definitely on my playlist.
