What’s In My 2022 Sephora Winter Saving Event Shopping Cart
Although I’ve mentioned in my previous Sephora Saving Events blog posts that I would like to start spending less, it hasn’t been easy. I’m a sucker for sales and good deals and since this sale only happens twice a year, I tend to stock up on a few items and add new items to my shopping cart that I’ve been eyeing for a while. And that’s already in addition to a few other purchases I make throughout the year as one-time sales come up.
But, here is what’s in my 2022 Sephora Winter Saving Event shopping cart this year – there are some items I’ve been wanting to try out (especially the mascaras since I’m working on a blog post to recommend the best mascaras for short lashes), as well as items I need to have before the next Sephora saving event happens in spring.
1 – Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm
I’ve been trying a few different makeup cleansing balms to see why they’re so popular and I’ve heard really good things about the Farmacy cleansing balms so I think it’s about time I give this one a try to compare it to a few others I’ve used. I normally use oil-based makeup remover as my go-to, but in the past few months, I’ve been using cleansing balms and have liked them well enough. Although they don’t completely remove my eye makeup and I still need to use makeup remover and a cotton pad or Q-Tip to help with the rest, they do work pretty well to melt your makeup before you start cleansing your face.
The Farmacy Meltaway Cleansing Balm helps with dullness and uneven texture and leaves the skin hydrated and silky smooth. It’s a holy grail cleansing balm that instantly melts away your makeup, removes impurities, and exfoliates the skin with no residue.
2 – Verb Leave-In Conditioning Mist
I alternate between leave-in conditioners or detangling sprays since a leave-in conditioner oftentimes also detangles. But I’ve been out of both and thought it’s a good time to try a couple of new ones. I’ve also been using the Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother and the K-18 Hair Mask once or twice a week, but I feel like I need to switch it up more often and my hair doesn’t necessarily need such “strong” products. I also don’t want my hair to get too used to the Olaplex or K18 products otherwise I feel like they won’t be as effective when I really need them. My hair is extremely tangled after I wash it so I usually need some kind of treatment after I wash my hair.
The Verb Leave-In Conditioning Mist is good for damaged hair, prevents color fading, and increases shine and hydration. It also detangles, smooths, tames frizz, repairs ends and prepares the hair for styling.
3 – Moroccanoil All In One Leave-In Conditioner
The Moroccanoil Leave-In Conditioner has really high ratings and helps hydrate and detangle the hair and provides up to 72 hours of softness. It also offers heat protection and protects against breakage. You can use this before styling your hair after you wash it, or to even refresh second-day hair.
4 – Sunday Riley C.E.O. Vitamin C Brightening Rich Hydration Moisturizer
I always love Vitamin C products and considering that winter is coming up, a rich hydration moisturizer will come handy. This moisturizer helps with dryness, dullness and uneven texture, and even works for dark circles. It is a high-potency, advanced Vitamin C moisturizer to help with the first signs of aging and provides antioxidant support.
5 – La Neige Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration With Vitamin C
I’m obsessed with the La Neige Lip Sleeping Mask since it works so well and actually heals my lips overnight. One jar lasted me about 10 months so it’s well worth the money, even though I think I noticed the price went up a bit. I will continue to purchase this as it is the most effective lip product I’ve had to date. My favorite flavor is Gummy Bear since it reminds me of my favorite Japanese grape drink, but this time I will be trying out the Mango one.

6 – Kayali Eden Juicy Apple Eau De Parfum Travel Spray
I’ve tried a few of the Kayali perfumes, but haven’t liked any so far – I’m hoping I’ll like the Juicy Apple since I like fruity scents and I wanted to give this brand another shot. It is a fruity floral scent with key notes of juicy red apple, wild berries, and jasmine.
7 – Charlotte Tilbury Mini Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray Duo Set
I currently have the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray and it’s become one of my favorites since it really does a great job of making my makeup look fresh all day. Even when wearing a mask, the makeup transferring is minimal. So I thought I’d stock up on a few more especially with this great price with the duo set and the Sephora Winter Saving Event discount.
8 – Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara
I keep hearing about tubing mascara and have also seen the before and after photos and videos of the Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara and it seems to work well. Since I’m working on blog post for the best mascaras, I’m looking forward to trying this out. This one is supposed to be lengthening, volumizing, curling, and long-wearing and is flake-free and smudge-proof which is very important to me.
9 – RMS Beauty Straight Up Volumizing Peptide Mascara
This mascara is volumizing, lengthening, and long-wearing and has up to 12 hours of lift. It also is flake-free and smudge-free. The Pro Peptide helps to strengthen, densify, and nourish the lashes. There are mixed reviews on this mascara, which makes me need to try it out for myself to determine if it is a good one or not.
10 – Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Mascara
Seeing the brush of the Charlotte Tilbury Volume 2 Mascara makes me think that this mascara will give my lashes lots of volume. My lashes tend to do very well with this type of brush and I have high hopes for this one since it’s a thickening mascara that supposedly gives an instant Hollywood false lash effect – and I’m all for false lashes. It also has a humidity-resistant formula that’s supposed to give your lashes 507% increase in volume after only one application.
