As someone who’s genuinely obsessed with their products and has personally purchased and tested over 9 different Beis items – from their viral Sport Pack to the cult-favorite Weekender – I wanted to share my honest experience to help you decide what your perfect Beis travel bag may look like. I’ve done all the research, obsessed over whether I made the right purchase decision or not, compared sizes and styles, and carefully chosen pieces that actually make my travel easier, not just prettier. In this Beis travel luggage review, I’ll break down what’s worth buying, what I use the most, what I have my eye on, and what you might want to skip – all from the perspective of a real traveler who’s put these bags to the test.

My Top Beis Travel Picks

I have managed to collect most of the Beis travel bags I’ve wanted, though my Wishlist isn’t done – I’m still eyeing the Medium Cosmetic Pouch, The Classic Backpack in Burgundy, and any exciting new releases that are yet to come. That said, after putting my bags through real-world travel and daily use, some have become absolute go-to essentials, while others are nice-to-haves or less frequently used. Whether I’m traveling internationally, heading on a weekend road trip getaway, or just running errands around the city, these 3 Beis bags have truly stood out, and they may just become one of your Beis travel essentials too:

Must-Have Beis Travel Luggage

My Choice Of Roller Luggage

The Carry-On Roller – This is the perfect size for my needs, has the smoothest glide, and a simple yet elegant aesthetic.
Best Use Case: Long weekend trips of week-long getaways when packed efficiently. Here’s a blog post on How To Pack For A Week’s Vacation To Fit In A Carry-On to help you out!
How I Use It: I rely on this carry-on roller for most of my shorter trips (when I know it’s not the cobblestone roads that I’ll be encountering so I don’t destroy the wheels – I want to make sure this carry-on lasts me as long as possible) and it fits all my essentials while keeping me organized.
Minor Con: Not a dealbreaker, but it doesn’t fit every airline’s carry-on restrictions, so double-check before flying if you don’t want to check your luggage in.

Go-To Personal Item Bag

The Expandable Backpack – This backpack has great organizational pockets, it is expandable up to 2 inches, and it’s the perfect personal item size, especially when you need to adhere to strict airline rules.
Best Use Case: Daily use, short overnight trips, or as a carry-on personal item.
How I Use It: I love taking this backpack as a personal item bag on trips when I can pack light, as it fits everything I need and allows me to expand it an extra couple of inches if I end up needing more space. Here’s a blog post on What To Pack In Your Personal Item Bag When Flying if you need some packing inspo!
Minor Con: None so far!

Great For Daily Use

The Sport Pack – This fanny pack is versatile, hands-free, and large enough to fit a lot – including a water bottle – and it looks very chic. I usually take it as a casual daily bag when I run out of the house for an errand or hiking.
Best Use Case: Casual daily outings, errands, or light hiking trips.
How I Use It: I usually grab this bag when I need a compact, hands-free option when I quickly run out of the house for an errand across the street or a walk outdoors.
Minor Con: If you stuff the bag, you need to be careful when opening it, as some things can fall out, as it does have a large opening.

These are the Beis bags I currently reach for the most, but keep reading – I’ll be breaking down other pieces in my collection and when they’re worth picking up (or skipping).

Beis Travel Luggage Product Reviews

Luggage

The Carry-On Roller – Atlas Pink

Beis Travel Luggage Set In Atlas Pink

Why I Bought It: After breaking 5 roller suitcases in 3 years, I wanted a durable, stylish, and functional carry-on that would last. Beis stood out for its combination of chic design, thoughtful features, and rave reviews. And what sealed the deal was when I saw testimonial videos of the luggage being thrown down stairs and stomped on, and there was little to no damage.
Best For:
Week-long trips, weekend getaways, short trips, business travel, or travelers who want a carry-on that’s both stylish and practical. Also great for frequent flyers who prefer not to check luggage but need ample packing space.
What I Love:
Smooth 360° wheels, cushioned handle, built-in TSA lock, expandable capacity (up to 61L), internal organization pockets, built-in weight indicator, and of course, the gorgeous pink color.
What I Don’t:
Unfortunately, it is slightly larger than some airline carry-on restrictions, so you may need to check in the bag at the gate occasionally. It also doesn’t come cheap unless purchased on sale, which I did for 40% during the Beis yearly Warehouse Sale.
Final Verdict:
4.5/5 – Definitely worth the investment, especially if you catch it on sale. It handles real-world travel exceptionally well and has become my favorite carry-on luggage.
Full Blog Post Review:
I’ve written a full, detailed blog post review of the Beis Carry-On Roller to help you decide if it’s the right luggage for you. It covers everything from size and durability to features, pros and cons, and real-world travel experiences.

Weekenders

Beis Travel Weekenders

The Mini Weekender – Atlas Pink

Why I Bought It: My husband got this for me as a birthday gift, and surprisingly, he picked exactly the Weekender I actually wanted without knowing I even wanted it. It matches perfectly with my Carry-On Roller – and that was totally the intention!
Best For: Weekend getaways, short trips, overnight stays, or even as a personal item bag for some airlines.
What I Love: The structured opening stays open on its own, making it incredibly easy to pack or grab items quickly. I also love the bottom compartment for shoes or other items I want to keep separate from the main compartment. It’s perfectly sized, lightweight, and matches my other Beis luggage, giving a cohesive and stylish travel look.
What I Don’t:
There’s nothing I don’t like about this bag and it’s been perfect for my needs so far.
Final Verdict:
5/5 – The Mini Weekender is the perfect size for me, as I found the original a bit too large and it’s an absolute must if you have the roller luggage to match.

Totes

The Travel Tote – Lonely Ghost Collab

Why I Bought It: I was drawn to this limited edition collab with Lonely Ghost because of the unique design, playful aesthetic, and marketing – the “Text Me When You Land” detail really captured the travel vibe. I hoped it could replace some of my other travel duffel bags while adding a fun, stylish option to my travel luggage collection.
Best For: Weekend getaways, short trips, overnight stays, or even as a personal item bag for some airlines.
What I Love: The bag looks amazing with its design, text, and color palette. I also love its versatility – it can be carried handheld, on the shoulder, or crossbody – making it very convenient while traveling.
What I Don’t:
The shape creates a bit of wasted space near the bottom and folds on the sides slightly, limiting packing capacity. It’s marketed as easy to clean with soap and water, but I accidentally dropped some red pasta on it during a train ride in Switzerland. Even after cleaning immediately, the white portion still retained a small stain. I did reach out to Beis Customer Service, and they offered a 15% refund, which I appreciated, thought it didn’t solve the cleaning issue.
Final Verdict:
3/5 – A stylish and unique bag that’s fun to travel with, but the packing limitations and cleaning challenges make it less practical for heavy-duty travel. It might be best suited for short trips where aesthetics matter more than maximum space.
New Colorways: Since the Lonely Ghost collab was a limited edition, they came out with this Travel Tote in Flame and Camel, but it may be a limited edition color as well.

The North To South Tote – Beige

Why I Bought It: I debated long and hard between several Beis totes and did extensive research to avoid duplicates of what I already owned and to ensure I made the best decision, although I was very tempted by the East To West Tote. I ultimately chose the North To South Tote because it seemed like a good daily bag that could hold my laptop and essentials.
Best For: Daily use, work bag, short day trips, or a personal item bag.
What I Love: The beige color is perfect and elegant with this material. I like the front pocket for quick access to items like my sanitizer, tissues, candy/mints/gum, or keys. The design is simple yet sleek, making it versatile for daily use or travel.
What I Don’t: It’s slightly slim and the shape feels a little long when worn crossbody. The laptop slot fits a smaller tablet or a laptop smaller than a 13”, so it’s not ideal if you want to carry a full-size laptop in a lot – you’ll need to put it in the bag itself.
Final Verdict:
3/5 – While I didn’t really need this bag, I couldn’t resist adding another Beis bag to my collection. It’s stylish and works well for daily use or lighter workdays, but its slim shape and laptop limitations keep it from being my top tote choice. But I’m hoping I can put more use to it!

Backpacks

Beis The Expandable Backpack

The Expandable Backpack – Beige and Atlas Pink
Why I Bought It:
I have the Carry-On Expandable Travel Backpack – 45 L from Amazon – which I absolutely love – but it is oversized as a personal item bag for some airlines, and about the size of a carry-on roller once fully packed and expanded. I knew I needed a similar bag that was smaller, more manageable and with the same organizational features. Initially, I wasn’t a fan of how square the Expandable Backpack looked, but the sizing and thoughtful pockets convinced me to give it a try. Once I received it in Beige, I fell in love and got a second in Atlas Pink to match my other Beis travel luggage.
Best For: Daily use, school bag, overnight stays, or as personal item bag for flights.
What I Love: The best part about this bag is the ability to expand it by an extra 2 inches if needed and it fits even the strictest personal item bag policies on the airlines I fly with. Not only that, it has their signature trolley-pass through, which makes it so easy to travel with when I don’t want to carry it on my bag and just slide it over my roller. The organizational pockets are many and well-placed and the pocket to hold a water bottle can also be pulled out from the side so that it can be external, which also gives you more room in he bag. The bag is durable and can fit a lot, and it’s comfortable and super easy to carry even when full.
What I Don’t: Nothing – I’m very impressed with this bag!
Final Verdict:
5/5 – This is one of my absolute favorite Beis bags as it’s a versatile, stylish, and highly functional backpack that’s perfect for travel. I’d get this in every color if I could.

Crossbodies

Beis Travel The Sport Pack

The Sport Pack – Atlas Pink x 2, Black, And Slate
Why I Bought It:
I was deciding between The Belt Bag or The Sport Pack for a long time, but I ended up choosing the latter because it’s larger, more stylish, and the paracord detail adds both a functional and decorative touch. I got it in Atlas Pink, loved it so much that I also got it in Slate for myself and Black for my husband (who uses it almost daily). I even redeemed some Beis points during a sale to get a second Atlas Pink as a backup.
Best For: Daily use, hiking, travel, or hands-free outings where you want style and convenience on a more casual day.
What I Love: It’s versatile, chic, and surprisingly spacious for a fanny pack. The multiple compartments help keep essentials organized, and the built-in card holder is a thoughtful addition – plus there’s a key leash (like a lot of their other bags). It’s comfortable and easy to carry for daily errands or outdoor activities, and I do like the paracord in case of any emergency (if I can figure out how to unravel it when needed).
What I Don’t: As mentioned above, because of its shape and if the bag is fully packed, you need to open it carefully as items may spill out if you’re not holding it while unzipping.
Final Verdict: 5/5 – This is one of the most practice pieces in my Beis collection and I get a lot of use out of it.

Beis Versus Other Travel Luggage Brands

If you’re researching luggage options, you’ve probably come across comparisons like Beis vs. Away, Beis vs. Mono, or even Beis vs. Mono. While I haven’t personally used all these competitor brands, I’ve spent a lot of time researching them and considering my options. Brands like Away, Calpak, July, and Mono have their fans, but the designs just didn’t appeal to me – no matter how much I looked, I couldn’t find a style that felt like “me”.

That said, I would be open to trying a Mono roller luggage in the future – my best friend also has a full Mono set and absolutely loves it, but for now, I didn’t feel the need with the amount of travel luggage I currently have (as in, they’re not broken yet).

So why did I choose Beis over other options? Several factors stood out to me:

  1. Design And Aesthetic: Beis nails the balance between chic, minimalist, and playful design. The colors, textures, and finishes are exactly what I wanted, and even the limited edition collabs make the brand feel fun and unique.
  2. Functionality And Features: From expandable backpacks to carry-on rollers with all the features, Beis thoughtfully considers real-world travel needs. Many competitors have solid features too, but the organization and durability of Beis roller luggage really stood out to me.
  3. Marketing And Brand Experience: Beis consistently delivers exciting launches, seasonal collections, and creative collaborations that keep the brand fresh and fun. Even though it’s a celebrity brand by actress Shay Mitchell, it doesn’t feel gimmicky – the quality, design, and reviews genuinely speak for themselves.
  4. Sizing Variety – Beis offers a wide range of sizes across totes, carry-ons, backpacks, weekender bags, and more – making it easier to mix and match without duplicating capacities or functionality. And the number of options available makes it easy to appeal to a wider audience.

Overall, Beis travel luggage felt like the best combination of style, function, and excitement for my travel needs, which is why it became my go-to brand. If you’re still deciding, I’d recommend checking out the bag sizing, features, and aesthetic to see which fits your travel style – for me, Beis simply won on all fronts.

Beis Loyalty Program

Beis offers a loyalty program that rewards repeat customers with points for purchases, reviews, and social engagement. It’s a nice bonus for fans of the brand and if you shop frequently or love to collect multiple colors or styles, it’s a great way to save money and get early access to exciting new products.

Earning Points: You can earn points for every dollar spent on Beis products, and sometimes completing activities like writing reviews or following them on social media, as well as birthday points.

Redeeming Points: Points can be redeemed for discounts on purchases or if you have enough points, you can even redeem them for free items.

Perks And Exclusive Access: Loyalty members of a certain tier often get early access to sales, new launches, or limited-edition collaborations – which is perfect if you’re eyeing a popular release.

Points Expiry: Points do expire at the 6-month mark if you don’t purchase anything or if you haven’t redeemed any points.

Tips For Your Beis Travel Luggage

  1. Use A Luggage Protector: For maximum durability, consider using a clear luggage protector or Beis’ own luggage covers if you check in your bags frequently. I had one on my Carry-On Roller and it truly saved my bag from being scuffed.
  2. Keep It Clean: Regularly wipe down zippers, handles, and wheels to keep them smooth, functional, and clean.
  3. Don’t Overpack If Possible: Avoid exceeding the bag’s expansion limit to prevent stress on seams, zippers, and handles.
  4. Check Airline Regulations: Even if you’re Beis Carry-On Roller meets most size limits, verify your airline’s rules before flying to avoid having to check it unexpectedly.
  5. Organize With Compression Packing Cubes: Using packing cubes or pouches inside your bag can make packing more efficient and organized.
  6. Handle Carefully: When using the rollers, avoid dragging or dropping the bag on rough surfaces to minimize scratches or destroying the wheels (my nightmare when traveling as it totally ruined my trip a few times when the wheel didn’t function properly), even though the bag is durable.
  7. Store Properly Between Trips: Keep bags in a cool, dry place and avoid stacking heavy items on top to maintain shape and structure.
  8. Use The Features: Take advantage of built-in compartments, compression straps, and TSA locks for smoother, stress-free travel.

FAQs About Beis Luggage

Does Beis have warranty on their products?
Beis offers limited warranty on their luggage, which generally covers defects in materials or craftsmanship. It doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by mishandling during travel, or cosmetic scratches. If you encounter an issue with your Beis luggage, their customer service responds pretty fast – but they do handle problems on a case-by-case basis.

How does Beis travel luggage hold up over time?
Based on my experience and my own collection, Beis luggage has been durable and long-lasting. Although I may want to use it for several more years to see how well it takes wear and tear, it’s been holding up well so far. I’ve used my Beis bags for multiple trips, both short and long, and they still look and perform like new. That said, any luggage that go through extreme conditions may be a different story.

Is Beis travel luggage TSA-approved?
Most Beis travel luggage comes with built-in TSA-approved locks, so you don’t need to buy a separate lock. That is especially convenient for US travel as TSA agents can open and relock your bag without damaging it.

Can Beis carry-ons fit in all airlines’ overhead bins?
Beis carry-ons are designed to meet most major airline restrictions, but some strict carriers or regional flights may require you to check the bag. From my experience, even if the bag fits in the overhead bin on the way to your destination, gate agents can sometimes insist it won’t fit on the return flight and make you check it in. This is especially common with budget airlines, so it’s always a good idea to measure your bag and check your airline’s limits before flying. If you want a more guaranteed fit, Beis also offers the Small Carry-On Roller, which is slightly smaller. That said, I found this size to be closer to a larger backpack so it didn’t meet my needs for packing a full week’s worth of items like the Carry-On Roller can.

Are Beis bags good for every use or just travel?
Beis has several styles and types of bags that are perfect for daily errands, work, or school. They’re stylish, functional, and lightweight, making them just as useful for day-to-day activities as they are for travel.

How easy is it to clean Beis luggage?
Most Beis luggage materials are wipeable with a damp cloth and mild soap, but I usually find that isn’t enough. I’ve used Tide and Clorox pens and even stain removers like Resolve on my Sport Pack, Expandable Backpack, and Travel Tote so far, and there have been no issues. The only one that couldn’t really be cleaned was the Travel Tote, as shared above. Hard-shell bags are very low-maintenance and are also wipeable with Lysol wet wipes. However, always clean your bags immediately to prevent long-term stains!

Does Beis offer sales or discounts?
Beis frequently runs sales throughout the year, including flash sales, seasonal collections, and the Spring Virtual Sale (which usually happens in February or March) with up to 40% off. Sometimes, they are even 50% off. Beis points can also be redeemed and it works on some sale items if you want to maximize savings. I personally have purchased all my Beis bags on sale, anywhere between 15-50% off or more. The best sales are usually during Black Friday and their Spring Warehouse Sale. I’ve also found several Beis items at Winners, and they have been between 40 to 60% off.

Final Verdict: Should You buy Beis Travel Luggage?

After using multiple Beis travel luggage and bags across travel, daily life, and weekend getaways, I can confidently say that Beis is worth it for travelers who value style, organization, and durability. The attention to detail makes packing and traveling far less stressful and more luxurious.

Beis is ideal for anyone who wants luggage that looks chic but is also functional, whether you’re a frequent flyer, weekend traveler, or someone who just wants a reliable everyday bag. If you’re a backpacker or adventure traveler who prioritizes lightweight or rugged bags, Beis may not be your first choice, but for many travelers, it’s a dream.

If you’re new to the brand, I recommend starting with the Carry-on Roller or The Expandable Backpack – both are versatile, practical, and can give you a feel for the quality and thoughtful design of the brand.

Overall, Beis isn’t just a celebrity-backed brand, it’s a thoughtfully designed travel luggage line that truly delivers on both style and function. Whether it’s your first Beis bag or you’re adding to an existing collection, it’s an investment in hassle-free, stylish travel.
