The FabFitFun Box will be my first box subscription review on my blog, but I have tried a variety of beauty, clothing, and food subscriptions. These have included Birchbox, Fabletics, Ipsy, Chef’s Plate, GoodFood, and Hello Fresh. I love subscriptions as I am able to get a variety of different items every month. It’s knowing that I have something coming at a designated time on a consistent basis which makes it exciting. I will say though, that my favorite subscriptions are the beauty and lifestyle boxes. I just wish that more of them are able to ship to Canada!

A lot of subscriptions are at a lower price point as you only get deluxe sample sizes. And as the prices go up, you can either have options to customize or get full size products. With the FabFitFun Box, it gives you full-size products that are customized to your interests, skin type, etc. and has items that are good for everyday use.

What Is The FabFitFun Box?

I Like It All Lifestyle Blog -FabFitFunBox

FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box filled with goodies for spring, summer, fall, and winter. You could get items in your box that you can use for that particular season or all year round. This lifestyle box can include items such as beauty, home décor, fitness, health, and more. FabFitFun allows you to try more products out at a lower price. Most of the time, one item is already worth the price of the entire cost of the box! You’re also able to have add-ons for an additional price, but it would still be cheaper than what you would pay for full price elsewhere.

How Does The FabFitFun Box Work?

I know, you’re probably thinking if you get full-size products, that it’ll cost a lot. Thankfully, that’s not the case here! There’s actually 2 ways to pay for your FabFitFun Box: 1) you can subscribe annually for $179.99 which is $45 USD per box or 2) pay per box seasonally at $50 USD. If you get the annual membership, you also get to have early access to customize your box, be able to customize your entire box, get earlier shipping, and earlier access to add-ons. For both memberships, keep in mind that the subscription will automatically renew as the season or each year ends unless you cancel before your renewal date.

Once you subscribe to the FabFitFun Box, you will fill out a survey so they know how to customize your box to your liking. Of course some items will be predetermined for that specific season, but you will get items that fit your skin color, skin type, hair color, and preferences.

How Much I Paid And The Value I Received

I Like It All Lifestyle Blog - Summer FabFitFun Box 2021

When I first signed up for my Spring 2021 FabFitFun Box, I was able to get a discount so I actually paid about $25 USD. I chose the seasonal membership as I wanted to try the first box and see what it was like before committing long term. My first box was actually shipped to Miami, Florida so I didn’t have to pay an additional shipping fee. I was able to choose 1 item to customize in my box from their spring selection. I also received 8 items – 7 of which were full-size and 1 was just 10ml away from being full size. Overall, my FabFitFun Box had items totaling $329 USD which was well worth what I had paid. And even if I paid the full price of $50 USD, it would have still been worth it. That being said, there were 3 or 4 items I wasn’t too keen on getting but didn’t mind trying.

For my Summer 2021 FabFitFun Box, I shipped it to my address in Canada so I had to pay about $8 USD extra. I received 8 items that were full-size and the total box value was $286 USD. This time, I also chose an add-on for $7 USD, which was shipped separately from the FabFitFun Box. I’m not sure what the difference was between shipping to the US and shipping to Canada, but this time I was able to choose 4 items to customize in my box which I was extremely happy about. I was also able to choose skincare products and brands I really wanted to try out and had planned to purchase anyway. I really enjoyed my second box much more as I was able to customize more items to my preference and the other items that they did send me, was more in-line with what I would use.

What Is The Shipping Cost?

Currently the FabFitFun boxes ship to the US, Canada, and the UK. It is free shipping within the US, aside from Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Which costs the same as shipping to Canada for $8 USD. Shipping to the UK is $10 USD.

Considering that this is quite a large box with full size items, I think it would be expensive for shipping, but it’s actually very reasonably priced for international shipping. Also, here’s their shipping schedule according to season so you can know when to customize your box, get billed, and check for your FabFitFun box in the mail!

What’s In My FabFitFun Box?

In every box, you’ll receive a FabFitFun Magazine that breaks down all the products you could possibly get that season as well as more information on the FabFitFun subscription service, beauty articles, recipes, etc.

If you don’t purchase the annual subscription, you won’t be able to customize your entire box. Depending on the product selection and inventory they have each season, you may not always get something you love using. If this is the case, you can definitely gift them away as they are full-size and could be useful to someone else. In my Spring 2021 FabFitFun box, my favorite items were numbers 1 through 4 and 8. The other items I didn’t find I really needed or wanted. But even getting the Perricone moisturizer alone was worth it to me. In my Summer 2021 FabFitFun box, I was happy with every single item I received and found them all useful. And honestly, I couldn’t believe the deal I was getting.

Is the FabFitFun Box Worth Buying?

Let’s say, at the most you’ll be paying is $50 USD every quarter. That’s $200 USD a year. Even getting one box makes up for the amount you’re spending the entire year with the amount of products and value you’re getting. Also, it makes it easier that it isn’t a monthly box like most subscriptions. You won’t have to worry about adding more to your bills every month.

It’s also nice to treat yourself once in a while, especially when you’re getting a variety of different products. If it was just beauty products, it may be tough to use all at once. But since it’s more of a lifestyle box, you can find the items inside useful for almost every day. This subscription box also introduces you to items that will make your life a little easier and more fun.

I also like the idea that it is seasonal so you’ll be getting items that will be useful during the time you get it. Because you are able to customize your box as well as fill out information on your preferences, you can make the most out of your money, knowing you’ll get something you’ll like a majority of the time.

I was actually very excited to receive my box and I was pretty impressed with the brand names I received as well as the product themselves. If you like trying new things, the FabFitFun box is a great subscription to try!
