When it comes to travel, obviously I can’t go without packing all the skincare products I need as you can see in the What’s In My Travel Toiletry Bag blog post. But ever since finally getting my hands on the TULA Eye Balms, I find that they are perfect for traveling for so many different reasons (of which I share with you in the details below). But first, here is some information about the brand as well as the benefits, key ingredients, and how to use the TULA Eye Balms!

About TULA Skincare

TULA Skincare was launched by Dr. Roshini Raj, a practicing gastroenterologist, in 2014. It has quickly grown to be one of the most loved brands at Ulta Beauty and a cult and influencer favorite. This skincare brand is built on the power of probiotic extracts and superfoods that help soothe, hydrate, and nourish the skin to improve, balance, and calm the look or irritation. Their formulas are also grounded in thorough scientific research to deliver the results we want to see.

What It Is

TULA currently has 4 different types of eye balms. My favorite 2 are the Rose Glow + Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm and the Glow + Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm, which I’ll be covering in my blog post.

There is also a Glow Hour Brightening and Neutralizing Eye Balm which was a collab with an influencer named Courtney Shields. This eye balm was smaller in size compared to the rest of the TULA Eye Balms. And unfortunately, the shade of this eye balm didn’t go very well with my skin tone with its peachy glow.

The newest addition is the 24-7 Hydrating Day and Night Treatment Eye Balm. If you want a little more potent eye balm, this TULA Eye Balm is a great choice and perfectly for traveling since it has squalene, caffeine, and cocoa seed extracts to hydrate, firm, and improve the look of puffy eyes as well as provide antioxidant protection. Along with the peptides and collagen to help with reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Benefits

  • Hydrating
  • Cooling
  • Helps with loss of firmness
  • Good for dark circles
  • Delivers and amplifies glow
  • Minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles

Key Ingredients

Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates the skin

Rosehip Oil And Rosewater: (only for the Rose Glow Eye Balm) Tones and nourishes the skin

How To Use

One thing I love about the TULA Eye Balms and why it’s perfect for traveling is because all you have to do is pop the top off and sweep it under your eyes. You can wear it under or over makeup as well as reapply it throughout the day as needed.

Why Tula Eye Balms Are Perfect For Traveling

1 – It Has Multiple Uses So There’s Less To Pack

Lately, I’ve been packing my TULA Rose Glow Eye Balm when I travel for a couple of reasons. First of all, I can use the eye balm instead of my usual eye creams, plus it’s cooling so it helps depuff in the morning especially when I don’t get enough sleep the night before. You can also wear it on its own for instant brightening under the eyes if you want to skip makeup and even give a little under-eye glow when using at night time. Lastly, the TULA Eye Balm can also double as a highlighter so that’s one less item to have to pack on your travels.

2 – Quick And Easy To Use

When I’m traveling, I’m usually tight on time and the TULA Eye Balm is super quick and easy to apply. I just do 2 swipes under each eye in the morning and night and I’m done. Whereas with an eye cream I have to make sure I’m using the correct amount of product and then use my finger to massage it in, and clean my hands as well. The TULA Eye Balms are perfect for traveling as it helps me save time.

3 – Won’t Take Up Your Liquids Limit On Your Carry-On Luggage

I would say 95% of the time I only travel with a carry-on so luggage real estate is extremely important for me. Also, taking a carry-on means I have to limit my liquids so taking an eye balm instead of an eye cream helps as well. The number of liquids I bring from my skincare and hair products adds up so lessening any amount can be a relief for me when I’m traveling.
