Now, KVD Beauty has introduced the Good Apple Lightweight Full Coverage Concealer to really complete the look.
I enjoyed using the foundation, but if you know me, you know I love a good concealer so I was very excited to test the Good Apple Concealer out even more. I could already tell by the first two times of using the concealer that it was very promising, so here’s the breakdown of all the information you need to know before making your purchase!
What It Is
The KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full Coverage Concealer is an extreme long-wear, crease-resistant concealer with a natural finish. It has the same hydrating and lightweight full coverage as their iconic Good Apple Foundation.
This concealer uses Ultra-Concentrated InterLace Pigments to seamlessly stretch over the skin for undetectable coverage especially for things we want to hide like blemishes and dark circles.
How To Use
Concealers are versatile in the sense that you can use them to conceal, contour, or even highlight certain areas of the face. The KVD Good Apple Concealer applicator mimics your fingertip for precision and easy application. Use the applicator to apply concealer under your eyes and places you want additional coverage. You can blend it out as you normally do with a beauty sponge, makeup brush, or even your fingers.
For hiding blemishes, choose a shade that’s closest to your skin tone. For highlighting, use a shade or two lighter than you skin tone to accentuate certain areas of the face like the bridge of your nose, eyebrow arches, cheekbones, forehead, and chin. For contouring, use a shade or two darker to enhance and sculpt the face.
Important Note: I do find that you need to quickly blend our this concealer as it dries faster than most concealers and can make it a little harder to move around. This is not a bad thing as this formulation actually makes your concealer last all day. However, if you want to really spot conceal, KVD says to leave the concealer on for up to 30 seconds before blending it. This will allow it to dry a little bit and provide a thicker coverage in a certain area.

Product Packaging
This concealer comes in an easy twist tube, but what surprised me was the applicator. Although they say it mimics your finger tips and has a soft touch feel, I found that it was a bit small and didn’t apply the concealer as nicely as other concealers I’ve tried. It didn’t provide enough product and surface area coverage and I had to dip into the tube twice for each eye. The backside of the applicator is mostly plastic and doesn’t really have the soft brush all around like most concealers do. However, I don’t think this is huge negative since I just use the applicator to apply the concealer on my face and then use a sponge and/or makeup brush to blend it anyway.
Product Texture
I find that the KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Concealer isn’t as silky smooth as the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer, but it spreads across the skin pretty well and is of good consistency and has a lightweight, hydrating texture.
Product Scent
I find that there is no scent for this concealer.
Color/Pigment
The Good Apple Concealer in the shade 131 for medium skin with neutral undertones matched me perfectly and provided full coverage wear. It covered my dark circles and any blemishes easily and I didn’t have to go over spots multiple times to get enough coverage.
Wear Time
I really think this concealer lasts all day. The longest I’ve worn this concealer for was about 15 hours and it still looked perfect by the end of the day and had no creasing under the eyes which is really important to me. I didn’t have to apply powder or reapply the concealer either.

Verdict
Considering how the Good Apple Foundation was sold out everywhere, I had high expectations for the Good Apple Concealer. I will say that the texture is nothing like the foundation balm but it did not disappoint me and has become one of my favorite concealers. I especially love that it lasts all day without fading or creasing under my eyes. My skin also did not feel dry from this concealer and it did not look cakey or feel heavy on me. It literally just stays put and made my makeup look natural and flawless. It really annoys me when I get creases under my eyes after a few hours and have to blend out the concealer again or apply more setting powder and I’m so glad that I didn’t need to do either for this concealer.
I learned quickly though that I needed to blend out the concealer not long after I applied it since it really does stay in place. Which reminded me of Jaclyn Cosmetics Faux Filler Perfecting Concealer where Jaclyn said it does need to be blended quickly because it dries down fast due to its strong staying power. I haven’t tried this concealer yet, but I imagine this concept is something similar. Another thing is the applicator, as I mentioned above, does not have a large surface area and that is just something I prefer since I like to do one swipe to apply concealer to my under-eyes without having to re-dip into the tube. Neither of these things are enough to make me dislike the product and is something I can easily work with.
Overall, the KVD Vegan beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full Coverage Concealer definitely met my expectations and I will have one of these as my go-to concealers! If you want a concealer that lasts all day with full coverage and looks natural, this is it.
